Police Reports: Theft At Huntley High School

Huntley Police release reports for the week of Dec. 12:

 

Huntley Police report several thefts occuring between Monday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 9, at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Rd., Huntley.

For the second consecutive week, police also release information regarding damage to holiday decorations in homeowners' yards.

Thefts at Huntley High School

  • Police report on Dec. 5 tools were stolen from a storage room at Huntley High School. The value of the tools was not available.
  • Gasoline was reported stolen Dec. 5, from a vehicle parked at Huntley High School.
  • Police report headphones were stolen Dec. 5, from an unlocked locker at Huntley High School.
  • An I-Pod Touch was reported stolen Dec. 9, from a student’s backpack at Huntley High School.

Outstanding Arrest Warrant

Hector A. Santos, 19, 11526 Centennial, Huntley, was arrested Dec. 6, on an outstanding McHenry County warrant. Santos was transported to the McHenry County Jail to await bond call, police said.

Driving While License Suspended

Cody R. Curran, 21, 11368 Timer Dr., Huntley, was arrested Dec. 6, for driving while license suspended and possession of a suspended license. Curran also was cited for loud exhaust. Curran posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear Dec. 23 in McHenry County court date.

Unlawful Use of Credit Card

Huntley Police report the unlawful use of a credit card. The report was taken Dec. 10, at a retail store in the 12300 block of Route 47. The victim stated that unauthorized charges were made to her credit card, police said. An investigation is pending.

Vehicle Property Damage

Huntley Police report criminal damage to property on Dec. 9. A vehicle was keyed while parked in a driveway in the 12100 block of Coventry Lane.

Holiday Decorations- Property Damage

Five criminal damage to property reports were taken overnight on Dec. 11. The damage was reported in the 10600 block of Charles Street, 10800 block of Woodstock Street, 11800 block of Timer Drive and 10700 block of Grand Canyon. Huntley Police said Christmas decorations and a for-sale sign were damaged.

All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this press release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
