Police Blotter: Huntley Woman Charged With Resisting Arrest

Huntley police release this week's reports.

Police arrested a 48-year-old Huntley woman on a charge of resisting arrest, according to reports.

Kathryn C. LaReno, of 11284 Caldwell Drive, Huntley, also was charged with aggravated battery in a July 17 incident. LaReno was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.

No other details were released.

In other reports released this week:

  • Albert L. Frigo III, 45, of 7817 W Seminole, Chicago, was arrested July 11 on a telephone harassment charge, police said. Frigo posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Aug. 19.
  • Adam W. Fournier, 23, of 7508 Maple Road, Wonder Lake, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery July 11, according to reports. Fournier was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.
  • A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10700 block of  Wheatlands Way on July 13. A vacant home was vandalized, police said.
  • Mohammad Abdelrahman, 30, of 11810 E Main St., No. 2, Huntley, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license on July 14. Abdelrahman posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Aug. 26.
  • Scott A Mattson, 50, of 11305 Timer Drive, Huntley, was arrested July 14 on two DeKalb County warrants for failure to appear in court, police said. Mattson posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Aug. 11.
  • A criminal damage to vehicle report was taken in the 10900 block of Greywall Lane on July 15, police said. A truck bed cover was damaged.
  • A theft report was taken at a business in the 12800 block of Del Webb Boulevard on July 17, police said. A customer of the business left his wristwatch in the restroom. When he went to retrieve the watch, it was missing.
  • Ryan J. Strock, 27, of 1022 Beau Bremmel, Sleepy Hollow, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol level exceeding .08 on July 17, according to police. He also was cited with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without lights when required. Strock posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Aug. 26.
  • A criminal damage to vehicle report was taken in the 11700 block of Woodcreek Drive. The victim states that someone entered his vehicle between 1 and 10 p.m. July 16.
