Police Arrest Man on Weapon Charge

Huntley police report other arrests, thefts

A Woodstock man was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, police said. Thomas G. Tripp, 24, also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana on Oct. 19, according to reports. He was released on bond and given a Nov. 4 court date in Kane County.

In other reports:

-Police arrested Joseph M. Lichay, 49, of 11325 Fleetwood Drive, Oct. 20, on an outstanding warrant for delivery of cannabis, reports stated. He was taken to Kane County jail.

-An iPod was stolen from a student's backpack at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road, police said. The theft occurred Oct. 20.

-Police said a gas grill was reported stolen from a home in the 9900 block of Thornton Way. According to reports, the theft occurred sometime between 1-4pm. Oct. 17.

-Someone stole Halloween decorations from a home in the 12100 block of Main street Oct. 20, police said.
