Marlowe PTO Hosts Drug Abuse Forum

Marlowe Middle School PTO joins with Lake in the Hills Police Department for educational presentation.

 

Drug trends, drug identification and updates on synthetic drugs will be the topics Lake in the Hills Police cover at a community presentation at Marlowe Middle School on Dec. 13.

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Marlowe Middle School will be hosting a Community Educational Presentation: Drug Use and Abuse presented by the Lake in the Hills Police Department from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Police will also talk to parents about recognizing the signs of drug abuse and will provide tools and resources for parents.

This presentation is to inform both parents and students in the community about drug use, current trends, and how to stay away from drugs.
