Man Charged with DUIs

Thefts, burglary reported to Huntley police.

A Huntley man faces multiple charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Hector Santos, 41, of 11526 Centennial, was arrested Dec. 4 for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content over .08, according to police.

Santos was also cited for disobeying a traffic control signal and carrying open alcohol, police said. He posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Jan. 28, 2011.

In other reports:

-Huntley police reported several thefts in the last few weeks at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road, of items stored in locked lockers. A male student reported someone took his iPod on Dec. 1, police said. The same day, a female student reported someone took cash from her locker, police said.

-A 17-year-old Lake in the Hills resident was arrested for possession of cannabis on Nov. 30, police said. The teen was released to the custody of his parents. In the same incident, a 17-year-old male from Crystal Lake was also arrested for possession of cannabis. He, too, was released to his parents. Both were referred to the McHenry County juvenile court.

-A theft report was taken at a residence in the 11600 block of Main street Dec. 1. The victim states that her debit card was stolen and unauthorized charges were made to her bank account, police said.

-William A. Dohl, 63, of 12375 Lilly Lane, Huntley, was arrested for violation of an order of protection on Dec. 1, police said.

-Renee D. Moellenkamp, 46, of 9213 Kasper Lane, Crystal Lake, was arrested for sale of alcohol to a minor Dec. 2, police said. Moellenkamp was issued a notice to appear in McHenry County court on Jan. 10, 2011.

All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this press release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
