LITH Man Arrested for Selling Meth

A Lake in the Hills man was among four arrested in Villa Park last week following a month-long undercover drug investigation conducted by the DuPage County Sheriff's Tactical Narcotics Team, according to a release from the Sheriff's Office.

At about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday in an undisclosed location in Villa Park, undercover detectives met with Arthur Goodman, 34, of the 8100 block of 44th St. in Lyons, and Remy Martin, 42, of the 300 block of Pocahontas Trail in Lake in the Hills, to purchase methamphetamine, according to the news release.

During the operation, police said detectives witnessed Goodman and Martin selling meth to two brothers, Joseph Strubin, 30, and Christopher Strubin, 32, of the 10 block of Black Walnut Trail in Palos Park. All four men were taken into custody and are being held at DuPage County Jail.

Goodman and Martin are charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a Class X Felony, and are being held on $250,000 bond. The Strubin brothers are charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 3 Felony, and are being held on $150,000 bond, according to the news release.

Undercover officers from the Chicago and Woodridge police departments assisted the DuPage detectives.
