The Illinois State Police made one arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and various arrest on traffic violations during a holiday Roadside Safety Check on Interstate 90 and Route 31.
Illinois State Police (ISP) made 19 arrests during the safety check late Tuesday, July 3 and early Wednesday, July 4. The charges ranged from DUI to no valid driver’s license, the ISP said.
Troopers also issued 20 warning tickets.
A breakdown of the arrests:

- 1 registration offense
- 4 driver’s license offenses
- 1 equipment offenses
- 10 no valid insurance
- 2 other vehicle code offenses
