UPDATE: Huntley Woman Crashes Car Into Woodstock Business

The accident happened shortly after noon on Wednesday, according to the Northwest Herald.

The below information was updated at 1 p.m. on Oct. 25. 

An 81-year-old woman was cited for failing to use due care to avoid a collision after she crashed her car into the Mixin Mingle, 124 Cass St. in Woodstock, on Wednesday afternoon, according to Woodstock Police. 

Police say Dolores D. Bruemmer crashed her 1999 Ford Contour into the building at 12:07 p.m. after accidentally pressing on the accelerator while trying to park, according to a Woodstock Police Department press release.

Bruemmer was treated and released at the scene. No injuries were reported by any patrons at the Mixin Mingle, according to the news release.
