The police department is conducting its Citizen Survey, asking residents and business to evaluate its performance and setting future goals.

Police want to gauge how safe residents feel in their neighborhood and what are their concerns. The survey has 19 questions and asks people to rate their priorities including:

  • Discouraging the sale of alcohol to minors                                            
  • Discouraging the sale of tobacco to minors                 
  • Traffic crash reduction through visible traffic enforcement
  • Enforcement of parking regulations                                                     
  • Enforcing handicap parking regulations                          
  • Enforcing drunk driving laws                                                     
  • Enforcing speed restrictions on major roadways        
  • Enforcing speed in my neighborhood

Residents and business owners can fill out the survey online or pick up a paper version at village hall, 10987 Main Street or at the Huntley police department, 10911 Main Street.
