Huntley Police Report - Dec. 27 to Jan. 1

All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this press release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

December 27, 2011 

Elgin resident Robert E. Durbin, 19, of the 1700 block of Newbridge Circle, was charged with retail theft.  He was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on February 6, 2012.

A resident in the 10800 block of Wheatlands Way reported several pieces of jewelry stolen.

Woodstock resident Jerry Campos, 33, of the 100 block of Ash St., was arrested for driving while license revoked and was cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use.  He posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of January 20, 2012.

Forty-eight-year-old Michael J. Stafseth of the 11800 block of Coral Street was arrested on an outstanding Jackson County warrant. He posted bond and was released with a Jackson County court date of January 26, 2012.

A resident of the 10400 block of Middletown reported criminal damage to the property after yard lights were damaged there.

December 30, 2011 

Crystal Lake resident Manuel Avila-Duran, 22, of the 600 block of Buckingham, was arrested for driving with no valid drivers license and was cited for speeding. He posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of January 20, 2012

December 31, 2011 

Woodstock resident Beth A. Faulds, 41, of the 1100 block of Queen Anne Street. was arrested for DUI and DUI BAC over .08 and was cited for improper lane use. He posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of January 27, 2012.

January 1, 2012

William C. Schmitt, 28, of the 10 block of Hunters Path, Lake in the Hills, was arrested for domestic battery, theft and criminal damage to property.  Schmitt was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond call.
