Huntley Police Meeting with Sun City Residents About Burglaries

Police step up patrols, urging residents to take safety precautions.

 

Huntley police are holding a community meeting at Sun City to talk about the rash of burglaries with residents.

The meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m., Wednesday March 7 at Drendel Hall, 12880 Del Webb Blvd.

Huntley Chief John Perkins and Sgt. Mike Hewitt will be discussing the recent escalation of break-ins at Sun City, according to Sun City’s website.

Perkins is expected to discuss ways Sun City residents can protect themselves and “what we can do as a community to assist the HPD in apprehending those responsible,” according to the website.
