Huntley Police: DUI Arrest, Domestic Batteries, Criminal Damage

Cary Man Charged with DUI

Jeffrey A. Schmidt, 42, of 40 Pearl St., Cary, was arrested for driving under the influence on Feb. 16, police said. Schmidt posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of March 15.

Domestic Battery Arrest

Ernesto Ibarra, 42, of 11191 Fitzgerald, Huntley, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery on Feb. 16, police reports stated. Ibarra was transported to McHenry County jail and later posted bond.

Woman Charged with Domestic Battery

Cynthia M. Varallo, 39, of 11970 Brunschon Lane, Huntley,  was arrested on two counts of domestic battery on Feb. 17, according to police. Varallo was transported to McHenry County jail and posted bond Feb. 18.

Criminal Damages Reported

Someone damaged an outside light and exterior door in the 11000 block of Woodstock St. on Feb. 17, police said. In an unrelated report, a mailbox was damaged in the 11900 block of Blue Bayou Drive the same day, police said.
