Huntley Police: Burglaries, DUI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Police release reports from the week of April 22.

 

Note: The following information was obtained from Huntley Police Department arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

  • A video game player was stolen from a home in the 12300 block of Route 47 on April 22, police said.
  • Some took clothing at a store in the 11800 block of Factory Shops Blvd. on April 23, reports stated.
  • Jessica N. Carlin, 19, of 1305 Cunat Court, #1B, Lake in the Hills, was arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 24, according to reports. Carlin was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on June 10, 2013.
  • John Allen Derer, 40, of 15315 Route 14, Woodstock, was arrested for driving under the influence, improper lane use and improper signal on April 25, police said. Derer posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of June 14.
  • An iPod Touch was stolen out of a backpack in the boys’ locker room at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road on April 26, according to report.
  • Kitchen cabinets, counter tops and a microwave oven were reported stolen from a vacant home in the 10600 block of Lone Star on April 26, police said.
  • A 17-year-old Huntley boy was charged with possession of tobacco by a minor. In the same incident Modi Khushboo, 28, of 10976 Wheatlands Way, Huntley, was charged with sale of tobacco to a minor on April 26, according to police. Both subjects were released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on May 13.
  • A 17-year-old boy from Huntley, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis on April 26, police said. The boy was released to his father and will be petitioned into McHenry County juvenile court. In the same incident Jeremy G. Stokes, 22, of 5961 W. Superior St., Chicago, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Stokes was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court of May 20.
  • Caitlyn J. Emrich, 23, of 9691 Longfield Drive, Huntley, was arrested for driving under the influence, two counts of obstructing a police officer, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and improper lane use on April 28, police said. Emrich posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of May 17.
  • Adam R. Bentall, 29, of 12368 Black Oak Trail, Huntley, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on April 28, police said. Bentall was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on May 20.
  • A purse reported was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 12300 block of Route 47 on April 28, police said. The victim left her purse in a shopping cart and when she returned for to search for it, the purse was gone, reports stated. Later in the day, the victim’s credit cards were used at a store in the 13200 block of Village Green Drive.
