Huntley Police Blotter: Huffing Arrest Reported

Police released the following reports for the week of Nov. 5.

 

A 29-year-old man had a bad week after getting arrested twice on charges of inhaling an intoxicating compound, according to reports.

Brandon R. Brockmeyer, who listed addresses in Huntley and Hampshire, was arrested on two counts of unlawful consumption of an intoxicating compound, described as Ultra Duster air spray, on Nov. 6, police said.

On Nov. 8, Brockmeyer was again arrested for inhaling an intoxicating compound, this time 3M Dust Remover, police said. He was also charged with criminal trespass, reports stated.

Both compounds are used to clean computers, according to each brand’s website.

In other reports:

  • Patrick L. Scales, 42, of 146 Sunflower Lane, Bartlett, was arrested for driving while license suspended and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle on Nov. 5, police said. Scales posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of December 14.
  • Someone stole a handicap sticker from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot in the 13300 block of Village Green Drive on Nov. 5, police said.
  • Vincent M. Valenziano, 21, of 11624 E. Main St. #3A, Huntley, was arrested on Nov. 5 for an outstanding McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a driving under the influence of alcohol charge, police said. Valenziano posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of December 13.
  • A video recorder was stolen from a business in the 12300 block of Route 47 on Nov. 6, police said.

 

All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this press release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
