Huntley Police Blotter: DUI Arrests; Criminal Damage Complaints

October 7, 2013 A Criminal damage to property report was taken in the 13200 block of Juneberry Lane. The front window to the residence was damaged by a BB or pellet gun.

October 7, 2013 A theft by deception report was taken in the 9600 block of Cummings. The victim stated she paid for a fundraiser item and did not receive the merchandise.

October 7, 2013 Kourtni M. Drougas, age 26, of 10514 N. Rt. 47 #B, Huntley, IL was arrested on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge. Ms. Drougas posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of November 13, 2013.

October 8, 2013 Juan Arellano, age 20, 10767 Oregon Trail, Huntley, IL was arrested for battery and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Mr. Arellano was assigned a McHenry County court date of November 15, 2103 and was transported to McHenry County jail to await bond.

October 9, 2013 A theft report was taken at Huntley High School. A student reported that cash and jewelry were stolen from his backpack that was left in a locker room.

October 9, 2013 Lourdes Sixtos-Corona, age 36, of 760 Walnut Ave., Elgin, IL was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license and improper lane use. Ms. Sixtos-Corona posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of November 15, 2013.

October 9, 2013 A retail theft report was taken at a store in the 11800 block of Factory Shops Blvd. Clothing was reported stolen.

October 10, 2013 A theft report was taken in the 9800 block of Compton Dr. The victim states that her passport and her child’s passport were stolen.

October 10, 2013 A theft report was taken at Huntley High School. A student reported that she left her cell phone in a class room. When she returned to the classroom her cell phone was gone.

October 10, 2013 A computer tampering report was taken in the 10000 block of Ashley Ct. The victim states that her e-mail account was compromised.

October 10, 2013 A criminal damage to vehicle report was taken at Huntley High School. The victim states that his vehicle was keyed in the school parking lot.

October 10, 2013 A burglary from a motor vehicle report was taken in the 9900 block of Bedford. The victim stated that his cell phone was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

October 11, 2013 A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10700 block of Shenandoah. The victim states that 12 pumpkins were smashed on her driveway.

October 11, 2013 Ruben E. Palacios, age 18, of 11164 Caldwell Dr. Huntley, IL was arrested for 2 counts of domestic battery, aggravated assault and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Mr. Palacios was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.

October 11, 2013 Briana D. Ziemke, age 18, of 10164 Bennington Dr., Huntley, IL was charged with possession of cannabis. Ms. Ziemke was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on October 28, 2013.

October 11, 2013 A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10900 block of Greywall. Halloween decorations were damaged.

October 12, 2013 A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 9800 block of Compton lane. A large rock was thrown through the passenger side window.

October 12, 2013 A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10900 block of Greywall. A mailbox was damaged.

October 13, 2013 Deborah L. Uznanski-Early, age 39, of 6932 W. 65th #2S, Chicago, IL was arrested for driving while license suspended, expired registration and speeding. Ms. Uznanski-Early posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of November 22, 2013.

October 13, 2013 David R. Novak, age 19, of 11511 North River Rd., Algonquin, IL was arrested for 2 counts of DUI, speeding and possession of alcohol by a minor. Mr. Novak posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of November 15, 2013.

October 13, 2013 Jose Sanchez, age 64, of 11906 Fourth St, Huntley, IL was arrested for DUI, failure to give information after a crash and improper lane use. Mr. Sanchez posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of November 15, 2013.
