Huntley Police Blotter: Drug Arrest Reported

Police release reports, arrests.

A 23-year-old Huntley man faces drug charges, police said.

Joseph Pace Jr., of 11611 Bernice Ave., was arrested Aug. 22 on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic syringe, said. Police responded to a 911 hang up call at the home and learned there was a domestic argument between Pace and his parents. During the investigation, police discovered Pace was in possession of a substance believed to be heroin, according to reports.

  • A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 9500 block of Inverness Drive on Aug. 22. A second-floor window was broken by a rock or a ball, police said.
  • A criminal damage to motor vehicle report was taken in the 9500 block of Welsh Lane on Aug. 22, where someone shot a vehicle with two pellets, police said.
  • Donald A. Divito, 57, of 13413 Blue Bird Lane, Huntley, and Fabiola Carranza, 37, and Jeffrey C. Boyd, 46, both of 2231 Camden Lane, Hanover Park were charged with battery on Aug. 22, Huntley police said. All subjects were released with a notice to appear in McHenry County Court on Sept. 26.
  • A cement rock was thrown through the rear window of a car parked in the 10600 block of Braemar Parkway on Aug. 23, police said.
  • Nancy A. Kristan, 62, of 12748 Holbrook Drive, Huntley, was charged Aug. 23 with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and improper use of a turn signal, according to reports. Kristan posted bond and was released with a McHenry County Court date of Oct. 7.
  • Nicole L. Ayotte, 30, of 10701 N. Church St., Huntley, was arrested Aug. 24 on two counts of domestic battery, police said.
  • A criminal damage to vehicle report was taken in a parking lot in the 11800 block of Woodcreek Drive on Aug. 24.  The front driver-side window was broken, police said.
  • Electronics were stolen from a store in the 12300 block of Route 47 on Aug. 24, according to police.
  • Someone broke into a vehicle in the 10600 block of Braemar Parkway on Aug. 27 and stole an iPod Touch phone, police said.
