Huntley Police Blotter: Discharge of Firearm, DUI, Domestic Battery Arrests

Huntley police released the following reports from Jan. 14-20.

 

A Marengo man was arrested on a weapons charge, Huntley police said.

Douglas R. Wisner, age 23, of 800 Greenlee St. #4, was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm on Jan. 20, police said. No further details were released.

In other reports:

  • John C Hecht, 45, of 9959 Thornton Way, Huntley, was arrested Jan. 14 for driving while license suspended and possession of a suspended driver’s license, police said.
  • A solar powered rodent deterrent device was stolen from a home in the 13200 block of Cold Springs drive on Jan. 15, reports stated.
  • Jeffrey L. Winters, 45, of 1076 Windsor, Naperville, was arrested by Huntley police Jan. 15 on an outstanding Boone County warrant for battery, according to reports.
  • A student reported that her iPhone 4s was stolen out of her book bag at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road, on Jan. 15, police said.
  • Debris was put in a resident’s mailbox in the 10400 block of Evendale Road on Jan. 17, police said. Another mailbox was vandalized a few days later, reports stated.
  • A residential burglary report was taken in the 10400 block of Centennial Ave. on Jan. 18, reports stated.
  • Elizabeth Letona, 19, of 558 Birch Road., Woodstock, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving in the wrong lane and improper lane use on Jan. 19, police said.
  • Jamal K. Harrell, 22, of 903 Chippewa Circle, Carpentersville, was arrested for two counts of domestic battery on Jan. 20, police said.
