Huntley Police Blotter: Cops Investigate Separate Identity Theft Reports

Huntley police release reports from March 26 through March 30.

A Huntley man learned he was a victim of identity theft when he found out someone opened a cable television account in his name, police said.

The victim, of the 13200 block of Cedar Crest Lane, learned about the cable account on March 26, according to reports. No further details were available.

  • Someone used a Huntley woman’s debit card number to make several unauthorized purchases, according to reports. The victim filed a report March 27.
  • A retail theft report was taken at a store in the 12300 block of Route 47 on March 29.
  • Vandals caused damage to two vehicles, fencing and siding in the 10400 block of Middletown Lane on March 30, police said. The damage was done with black spray paint, reports stated.
  • Police said someone stole prescription medication from a home in the 10700 block of Woodstock Street on March 30. No further details were provided.
