Huntley Police Blotter: Burglary, Warrant Executed

Police release reports from the week of Nov. 5.

The following reports were released this week:

  • Someone shattered the passenger side window of a vehicle and stole a purse in the 10400 block of Algonquin Road on Nov. 6, police said.
  • Katherine Z. Chonko, 46, of 2889 Talaga Dr., Algonquin, was arrested Nov. 6 on an outstanding Kane County warrant for failure to appear in court on a criminal trespass to land charge. Ms. Chonko posted bond and was released with a Kane County court date of November 28.
  • A 14-year-old male from Huntley was arrested for retail theft, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 7, according to police. The juvenile was released to his father and will attend peer jury.
  • Two criminal damage to property reports were taken at Wiess Park, 9901 Bennington Dr. A restroom and an electric meter were damaged on Nov. 9, police said.
