Huntley Police Blotter: Burglary Nets Appliances

Huntley police release reports from April 9 tp April 15.

Huntley police are investigating a theft with a big haul, a washer and dryer from a vacant home, according to reports.

The victim told police the items were stolen from a home in the 8900 block of Disbrow Street on April 9, police said.

  • An identity theft report was taken in the 10700 block of Bayhill Court on April 9, police said. The victim states that he found several fraudulent charges made to his debit card.
  • A credit card fraud report was taken in the 10100 block of Hanover Drive on April 9, according to police. The victim discovered cash was withdrawn from his bank account and he found several fraudulent charges on his credit card, police said.
  • An identity theft report was taken in the 10600 block of Matthew Street on April 10, police said. The victim stated that his debit card was used by unknown persons to make fraudulent charges.
  • A credit card fraud report was taken in the 10400 block of Aldridge Drive on April 10, reports stated. The victim states that fraudulent charges were made to her debit card.
  • Kirsten E. Kottmeier, 18, of 11716 Woodcreek A, Huntley, was charged with battery on April 12, according to police  Kottmeier posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of  May 11, police said.
  • A 17-year-old Huntley boy was charged with possession of cannabis on April 13, police said. The juvenile was released to his parents with a notice to appear in McHenry County court.
  • Nathan Comacho, 18, of 4390 Bunker Hill Drive, Algonquin, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on April 13, police said. Comacho posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of May 18.
