Huntley Crime Blotter: LITH Man Charged with DUI

Police release this week's reports.

A Lake in the Hills man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence over the weekend, Huntley police said.

Jeffrey E. Narlock, 47, of 605 Grace Drive, was arrested May 1 for DUI and was cited for driving with no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to wear a seat belt, according to police.

Narlock posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of May 20.

In other police reports released this week:

-William T. Philpot, 28, of 933 Forest, Elgin, was arrested April 29 and charged with possession of a fraudulent insurance card and was cited for driving with no insurance and registration suspended for no insurance, police said. Philpot posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of May 27.

-A 15-year-old male from Huntley was arrested for battery April 29, police said. The juvenile was released to his parents and will attend peer jury.

-A theft report was taken at the intersection of Cambridge drive and Reed road where someone took letters from a subdivision sign, police said. The incident occurred April 29.

-Police said a criminal damage to vehicle report was taken in the 11400 block of Douglas Street on May 1. The vehicle had damage from a BB gun shot.

-Someone broke into a vehicle in the 12800 block of Oak Grove Road on May 1. The driver’s window was shattered and a GPS unit was stolen, police said.
