Huntley Blotter: Man Charged with Interfering in Domestic Violence Report

A 41-year-old Huntley man faces numerous domestic battery charges in a March 18 incident, police said.

Jeffery A. Schmidt, of 9913 Cummings, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery and one count of interference with reporting domestic violence, according to Huntley police.

In other reports:

• Courtney M. Lupella, 23, of 189 Red Hawk Path, Gilberts, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and cited with parking on the roadway on March 12, police said. Lupella posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of April 20.
• Jenny V. Samson, 32, of 10609 Brittany, Huntley, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery on March 13, police said.
• Alfredo Arriga, 20, of 5523 Danbury Circle, Lake in the Hills, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor on March 13, according to reports. Arriga was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on April 20.
• A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10900 block of Janice Drive on March 13. The victim’s car window was shattered and eggs were thrown on his driveway, police said.
• Two criminal damage to vehicle reports were taken in the 10700 block of Dundee Road on March 14, police said. The vehicles were parked behind a business in a strip mall.
• Nick Torina, 53, of 10329 Brighton, Huntley, was charged with two counts of domestic battery on March 15, reports stated.
• Kurtis M. Norwood, 23, of 619 Park St., Woodstock, was arrested on two counts of burglary to motor vehicle on March 16, police said.
