A Hampshire man died in a rollover accident Thursday on Walker Road, the Kane County Sheriff’s office said.
Thomas E. Kopitke, 58, was driving north on Walker Road, between Route 72 and Allen Road, around 8:50 p.m. when his 1989 white Ford Mustang left the road and crashed into a concrete encasement, deputies said. The Mustang then overturned and landed in a field, according to reports.

Kopitke was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
