Police closed a portion of Main Street and officers are redirecting traffic in the downtown area, Deputy Chief Todd Fulton.

The railroad gates, located just east of Route 47 on Main Street, came down around 1 p.m. and the village notified Union Pacific of the problem. Union Pacific workers are on the scene trying to fix the problem, but Fulton said there is no indication when the work will be done.
