Counterfeit Bill Found at Local Business

Huntley police release this week's reports.

Someone passed a counterfeit $100 bill at a business on Route 47, police said.

The bill was discovered on June 13 at a business in the 11700 block of Route 47, according to reports. Police did not provide further details.

• Laura L. Borek, 36, of 11260 Devon Court, Huntley, was arrested on charges of driving while license revoked and possession of a suspended license on June 13, police said. Borek also was cited with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, according to reports. She posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of July 22.

• A 64-year-old man, Anthony J. Turacek, of 10449 Evendale Road, Huntley, was charged with disorderly conduct on June 15, police said. Turacek was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County Court on July 11.

• Serefino Gonzalez, 19, of 11706 Kenneth Ave., No. 2, Huntley, was arrested on charges of driving with no valid driver’s license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle on June 16, police said.

• A Woodstock man was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended on June 16. Brandon A. Rapp, 25, of 785 Prairie View Court, also was cited with operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and display of an expired registration, police said. Rapp posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of July 15.

• Someone stole landscaping materials from a business in the 14000 block of Auto Mall Drive on June 17, according to reports

• A 59-year-old Huntley woman, Linda G. Cohodes, of 11837 Borhart Drive, was arrested on a charge of violating an order of protection on June 18, police said. Cohodes was transported to McHenry County Jail to await bond call.

• Police said a criminal damage to property report was taken at a business in the 11100 block of Church Street on June 19, police said.  A window was reported damaged.

• A criminal trespass to vehicle report was taken in the 11000 block of North Myrtle Street on June 19, police said.
