MCC Offers Trip to "The Book of Mormon" in August

If you missed the recent trip to see “The Book of Mormon” musical in Chicago, the McHenry County College’s Trips and Tours program is offering a trip this summer to see the hilarious show on Wednesday, August 24. Visitors will leave the MCC parking lot at 9:15 a.m. and return at 7 p.m.

The Tony-Award-winning musical has received high acclaim from several venues, including Vogue, which calls it the “best musical of the last 25 years.” The New York Times says “It’s the best musical of this century.”

“The Book of Mormon” is the Broadway phenomenon from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez. “The Book of Mormon” contains explicit language and is suitable for audiences 18 and older.

Trip participants will have time to eat lunch on their own before the matinee. Cost is $149. Spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended. No refunds are available.
