*Yesterday morning I woke to the sound of rain. Rain pounding so hard, I got up to make sure that was all it was doing outside. Then I climbed back into bed to listen. Ah, the comforting sound of the rain.
*I don't think Mr. Jackson in Pembroke Township, Illinois was enjoying the sound of the rain. I imagine he dreads the rain. I am certain it was pouring into at least one room of his home.
*A friend contacted me and said in honor of her birthday she would like to donate to One Neighbor at a Time. We are now $100 closer to getting Mr. Jackson protection from the elements.
I figured that 69 more people donating $100 would allow us to get shelter for Mr. Jackson.
*I know that I spend more than $100 a month on fast food.
... *I know that I can turn lights, tvs and computers on at will, and not turn them off if I don't feel like it.
*I know that I shower at least once a day (I really do! lol).
*I know that I truly want for nothing.
* I know we should help our neighbor.
Please go to http://www.onaat.org/apps/donations/ and help us raise $7,000 to bring shelter to Mr. Jackson.
Thank you.
