Community Corner

FREE Waffle Brunch for Seniors

Each year, the month of May is designated by the Administration on Aging as "Older Americans Month".  This tradition, dating back to 1963, honors the legacies and ongoing contributions of older Americans - particularly those who have defended our country - and supports them as they enter the next stage in life.

Every President since John F. Kennedy has issued a formal proclamation during or before the month of May asking that the entire nation pay tribute in some way to older persons in their communities.

Celebrate with other older Americans from McHenry County and Sun City Huntley for a wonderful Waffle Brunch.   The event is sponsored by Heritage Woods of Huntley and Faith in Action of McHenry County.  This is a not a religious event; and is open to all sixty years or wiser.
