Culver's Huntley Honoring Veterans. Special awards for Specialty Vehicles attending weather permitting !If poor weather please attend with your daily ride. Proceeds from lunch, desserts and merchandise purchased going to Vetsroll.org
...Mission:To provide the safe ground transportation and an enjoyable experience for World War II and Korean Era* US Military Veterans and “Rosie-the Riveters” to visit THEIR war memorials (and other related sights) in and around Washington, DC, as soon as possible at no charge.Urgency:WWII Veterans and “Rosies” are passing away at the alarming rate of 900-1000 per day!! These heroes are now in their mid-eighties to their mid-nineties and time is NOT on their side.
A ceremony featuring area veterans, presentation of colors and a flag presentation will be held. DJ Rudy Kay will be on hand playing 1940s era music. Culver’s employees will be dressed in clothing from the same era.

All Veterans are invited to participate in a parade to Culver’s. The lineup begins at Noon at Deicke Park in Huntley.
