Fall Open House

Sunday, September 22, 2013.

11 AM until 4 PM

 All residents, their family and friends as well as the
general public are cordially invited to our Fall Open House on Sunday, Sept. 22
, from 11 AM until 4 PM.  The event will
be held at the rear yard and basement of the Milgrove Woodshop, 13400 Sun City Blvd. Huntley IL, 60142.

 The Garden Scale crew has added new features to their
outdoor layout including  new houses and a
new turnout switch.  N scale has added a
new village, trolley, and waterfall. HO has added new rolling stock including a new Metra
commuter train and O gauge will be running the carnival, El train and ski
gondola.                                                                                                                                  

Also the Railroad Club will host a Special Operating night
on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 6 pm until 8 pm also in the backyard of the
Millgrove Woodshop (Rain date is Wed. Oct.2). The Garden Scale crews will be
running lighted passenger trains at dusk and into the early evening.  So before we turn our backyard over to the
squirrels and chipmunks, come out one more time.  And don't forget your cameras!

Finally our Holiday
display will open one week earlier then
normal on Saturday November 23, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  The event will run through Sunday 12/29/2013.
This year's train raffle will be a Santa Fe Super Chief train set and we will
be raffling off three sets. The raffle will be on Monday, 12/23/2013.

Residents as well as the general public are invited to our events which
are held in the backyard and basement of the Millgrove Woodshop or at Prairie
Lodge.  Admission is free but children
should be accompanied by adults.  Call
