We are a group of friends who are stepping up to help out
a local family in need. Our friend loved
one and lifetime resident of Crystal Lake and Algonquin recently passed away in
April when he had a cardiac event while driving and crashed, leaving behind his
wife and three small children. Tom was a
family man, lover of sports and sole provider for his family. So, it is now our
turn to put his family first. We are hosting a Fundraising Golf Event at
Turnberry Country Club on September 23rd where we will have golf, raffle baskets, silent auction
items, event reception and celebration of Tom his life and family. Our goal with this fundraiser is to keep his
three kids sports, activities and schooling from being affected by this huge
loss and get a financial buffer started for his wife. As we all know there are
always the unseen and unplanned for financial burdens of a house, car and kids.
