There’s no doubt construction season is in full swing with the Route 47 project and now the village of Huntley is starting its street resurfacing program. Preliminary work has started and actual construction is slated for next week in Southwind subdivision, off Reed Road.

Katie Sobin walked across the lawn of Huntley High School under a perfect blue sky Sunday and let out a big “whoop.” Sobin had just graduated from HHS.

 

Huntley High School's 2011 graduation ceremony took place Sunday June 5. There were lots of smiles from graduates and their families as diplomas were handed out. "We have dreamed and wished for this moment," salutatorian Aidnel Geister Navarro said.
