Storm Watch, Severe Weather Possible
A thunderstorm watch issued through this evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for McHenry County until 11 pm.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected tonight and could become severe, the NWS stated on its website. The temperatures will take a sudden turn from the 90 plus degrees of the past few days, dropping to 62 degrees, according to the site.
Tomorrow, temperatures are expected to remain cool, around 64 degrees, the NWS stated.
