New Traffic Patterns Expected On Main Street

Illinois Department of Transportation crews will be reconfiguring traffic patterns on Main Street this week.

IDOT will be redoing the traffic patterns along Main Street, east and west of Route 47, according to the department’s weekly release.

Motorists should be alert to the changes.

Workers will continue pouring areas of concrete at various sites along the route, IDOT stated. Flaggers will be directing traffic.

A reminder: watch for new temporary entrances to businesses on the east side of Route 47 between Main Street and Reed Road, IDOT officials said.
