Since last year the Garden scale (G gauge) crews have added a special Flower Shop and Greenhouse (built by Bob Webb and decorated by Kathy Sapko and Kay Sorensen) honoring Barbara Keno, the recently deceased member of the Sun Flower Garden Club.

Barb was instrumental in promoting the partnership between the Sun Flower Garden Club and the Railroad Club.  In addition to the Flower Shop, a gondola car filled with flowers and dedicated to her memory has been added through the generosity of her neighbors.

All Sun City residents as well as family, friends, model railroaders and garden enthusiasts from across the area are cordially invited to our events.

Admission is free but we ask that children be accompanied by adults.  Guests may call 847-669-2392 or go to our website and view Sun City’s home page under Charter Club Happenings to get updates for upcoming events.
