Huntley Teaparty Hosts Illinois Taxpayer Alert Forum

Local Teaparty asks how Illinois fixes its finances.

 

The headlines of the past few months are bleak: Illinois is a deadbeat state. The state does not pay its bills. It ranks 49th in credit worthiness and operates with a bloated staff.

Chris Lauzen, state Senator for the 25th District and candidate for Kane County Board Chairman, will speak on Illinois state finances and our future. Issues covered include the state debt, taxes, spending and our financial future.

The forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Cosman Center, Deicke Park, 12015 Mill St., Huntley.
