Huntley Police Blotter: Mob Action at Huntley High, DUI Arrests, Domestic Battery Charge

Police release reports for the week of May 14 through May 20.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old Hampshire man after an incident at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road, police said.

Terrell A. Watson Jr., of 2641 Fallbrook Drive, was charged with battery, mob action and disorderly conduct in the May 16 incident, reports stated.

A 17-year-old juvenile male, also from Hampshire, also was arrested on charges of battery and mob action, police said.

Watson posted bond and was released with a July 6 court date, while the juvenile was released into the custody of his mother and referred to McHenry County juvenile court.

Police did not release further details.

In other reports:

  • Richard G. Drummond, 51, of 1958 Norfolk, Westchester, was charged May 18 with driving under the influence of alcohol and was cited with improper lane use and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, reports stated. Drummond posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of June 8.
  • David Gonzalez, 47, of 10434 Somerset, Huntley, was arrested May 20 on two counts of domestic battery, police said.
  • James J. Connolly, 25, of 128 Hickory Drive, Carpentersville, was charged May 20 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, improper turn signal and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, police said.
  • Someone stole stereo equipment from an unlocked vehicle parked at Huntley High School on May 14, police said.
  • Part of a boat motor was taken from a business in the 10700 block of Wolf Drive between April 20 and April 24, according to reports.
  • A 16-year-old Huntley boy was charged with stealing cash at Huntley High School on May 15, police said. He was petitioned into juvenile court and released to his mother.
  • Engine parts were reported stolen at a business in the 11500 block of Smith Drive on May 16, police said.
  • Two awnings were reported missing from a home in the 12400 block of Black Oak Trail, according to reports. The theft was discovered May 16.
  • A 17-year-old Union boy was charged with battery on May 18, police said. He was released to his mother and will attend peer jury.
