Huntley Man Headed to Prison for 5 Years

Jimmy J. Dill pleads guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

 

A Huntley man, Jimmy J. Dill, 40, was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on Friday after pleading guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, authorities said.

Dill, of 10809 Cape Cod Lane, was charged Tuesday in con plead guilty to the Class 2 felony, admitting he placed his hands on the breasts of teen under the age of 17, according to a McHenry County State’s Attorney release.

He qualified for probation but the court found probation would deprecate the serious nature of the offense and a prison sentence was necessary to protect the public, the release stated.

The case was investigated by the Huntley Police Department.  and prosecuted for the State by Assistant State’s Attorney David Metnick.
