Centegra’s June Wellness Lectures Focus on Migraines, Foot Pain

Community members are welcome to hear physicians speak about migraines and foot and ankle pain durng Centegra Health System’s free wellness lectures this month.

Tired of Missing Out? Migraine 101

There seems to be more than just pain associated with migraines. Those who suffer from chronic migraines know how debilitating they can be. Events and family functions can often be pushed aside, resulting in days spent on the couch or in bed wishing the pain would go away. Join Dr. Paul L. Grindstaff, a neurologist on staff at Centegra Physician Care, as he discusses treatment options for chronic migraines. Let migraines be a thing of the past and get back to living. “Tired of Missing Out? Migraine 101” will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Huntley, 10450 Algonquin Road.

Stomp Out Foot and Ankle Pain

Think of how often people use their feet. Walking, dancing and riding a bike are all activities that put stress on one’s feet. Common injuries to the foot and ankle can pose many problems to one’s lifestyle. Join Dr. Patrick McEneaney, an independent podiatrist on the medical staff at Centegra Health System, as he explains prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common foot and ankle injuries. “Stomp Out Foot and Ankle Pain” will be 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21 at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Crystal Lake, 200 Congress Parkway.
