Be Part of Sept. 11 Memorial
Volunteers needed for memorial service at Sun City Huntley.
Sun City Huntley’s 9/11 American Flag Memorial Project is looking for volunteers for a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that shook America.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Mark the flag poles with depth lines on Sept. 9
- Help lay out the grid for the flags on Sept. 9
- Install the flags in the terrace on Sept. 10
- Remove, clean and package flags for storage on Sept. 12
- Raise money or make a donation for the American flags.
