Frugal tips to further your savings:

The Sunday coupon preview sites have said that there won't be inserts in this Sunday's paper and that we should look for our coupons in the mail. I have not found an explanation as to why the inserts won't be in the paper.

However, while we are on the subject of coupons, we have some information that may prove useful for you coupon aficionados out there. File this one in the, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” folder.

The coupon information center (CIC) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to fighting coupon fraud. If you come across a coupon that seems to be ‘too good, to be true’, you can go to the CIC Website to see if it is on their list of fraudulent coupons.
