MCC's Halloween Concert Will Give You Musical Chills

McHenry County College hosting its first annual Halloween concert with more than 100 musicians performing.

Come if you dare to a joint Halloween concert with the McHenry County College Concert Band and the Crystal Lake Community Band at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30 in the MCC Gym/Multi-Purpose Room in Building A.

This is the College’s first-ever Halloween concert and will feature more than 100 musicians who will perform seasonally dramatic music. Program highlights include “March to the Scaffold,” “What Shall I Do With Dorothy?” “Funeral March of a Marionette,” “Night on Bald Mountain,” and a combined band finale featuring “Thriller” with a Vincent Price voice-over.

Trick or treating for audience members in costume will take place after the concert. The concert is free and open to the public. The college is located at 8900 U.S. Hwy. 14 in Crystal Lake.
