Founder of Breast Implant Firm Guilty of Fraud

The founder of a French company that used an unapproved gel in its breast implants has been found guilty of fraud.  Of course I suppose one could make the argument that anyone associated with breast implants is guilty of fraud on some level.

INDOOR Farmers Market Saturday

The 2nd INDOOR Farmers Market of the winter season will be held this Saturday December 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd. It's not just vegetables and culinary delights--a garden/kitchen tool sharpener will be there in the hallway, and she is very good--can work while you are waiting or shopping.

Historic 1913 Glenview IL Farmhouse Gets Amazing Makeover

A century-old Glenview home successfully completed it’s extensive exterior restoration courtesy of Chicagoland home exterior company A.B. Edward Enterprises, Inc. Originally built in 1913, the house is a two-story framed #farmhouse.

Americans Vulnerable to Healthcare.gov Security Threats

U.S. Representative Randy Hultgren (IL-14), along with 21 members of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, sent a letter to President Obama raising concerns over the security and privacy risks surrounding Healthcare.gov, the online Obamacare portal.

Whoo Hoo! Our elected leaders in Springfield finally passed a new “pension reform” bill. I am so excited that I can barely contain my sarcasm and absolute disdain for the Springfield Circus Clowns that rammed this legislative Sword of Damocles down our throats.
