Patch Paw Pals: Flicka

Animal House Shelter's Pointer/Amstaff is the pet of the week. She is looking for someone to run and play with.

Flicka is a 2-year-old pointer/America Staffordshire terrier mix who came from a low-kill shelter facility in Indiana. She would make a perfect family pet because she gets along well with other dogs and children. Flicka loves hugs and kisses, tennis balls, running and playing.

Huntley’s Animal House Shelter’s kennel supervisor Amanda Bosshart said Flicka is extremely active and would love to be somebody’s running partner. But most importantly, she is just looking for a place to call her own.

“She would love to go home with somebody,” Bosshart said.
