Huntley Library To Celebrate Library Card Month

LIbrary card holders to get benefits

In honor of National Library Month, the is joining forces with other local libraries to reward library card holders.

The Huntley Area Public Library, the Fox River Valley Public Library and the Algonquin Area Public Library are hosting a library card sign-up day at Algonquin Commons Shopping Center.

From 1 to 5 p.m., on Saturday, September 15, the libraries and the Randall Road area mall are hosting A Library Card, What We All Have In Common.

The event will include a drawing for a Kindle eReader, a craft for kids of all ages and a special presentation from 2 to 4 p.m. by couponer Jill Cataldo.

You can sign up for your card, and participate in the day’s fun, by heading to the courtyard area near Aeropostale in Algonquin Commons on the 15th.

If you bring your library card to Algonquin Commons during the month of September, you can get special offers from participating Algonquin Commons stores.

A complete list of participating stores will be available at www.huntleylibrary.org on September 1.
