HHS Students Spend Hours Building Homecoming Parade Float

Huntley High School Student Student Council and Homecoming Committee members are finally finished building this year's Homecoming Parade float after spending six hours on it. Watch this video to see how they put it all together.

More than 20 Huntley High School Student Council and Homecoming Committee members look forward to showing off their Homecoming Parade float after spending six hours building it. The float is based on the school's homecoming theme "The Sweetest Thing."

Watch as the members build the float and explain how it all came together in the video above.

You can see the float in the Homecoming Parade Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 6:30 p.m. The parade will line up at the Village Hall and travel through the Georgian Place subdivision to Douglas Street. From Douglas Street the parade will continue on to Ol' Timers Park. A short community pep rally will follow after the parade.
