The St. Mary Knights of Columbus are sponsoring their first youth pro-life essay contest for children in grades 6-12 who attend St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntley. Essay writers will explain "Why I Am
Pro-Life ... And Why You Should Be, Too." There will be seven different contest divisions (grades 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12), with the winner of each division winning $25 from the Knights. In addition, the best essay from all seven divisions will receive an additional $25. The essays should be no more than 2,000 words, and must be submitted electronically by January 23. For contest
