Light of Christ Worship

Light of Christ:  Pastor Kendall Koenig along with the Pastor Sharon Rogers continue the sermon series this week called “David:  Bold Faith, Imperfect Life” with the sermon title this week,” Facing Our Giants” based on the Bible passage from I Samuel 17:3-50.   Blended worship service times at 100 Hanson Road in Algonquin are as follows:  Saturdays at 5:00 p.m.; Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  There is also a contemporary worship service at Westfield School, 2100 Sleepy Hollow Road in Algonquin at 10:45 a.m. every Sunday.  Pastor Kendall’s Wednesday morning Bible Class is under way meeting every Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.; all are welcome.  The Sunday night bowling league is starting; anyone interested should go to the website and sign up. The third graders Bible workshop for children and parents is scheduled for September 18th.  The children will get their own Bible on Sunday, September 23.
