Don’t Wait, RSVP Now for Pioneer Center’s Holiday Lunch and Book Review

Book dramatist Barbara Rinella presents "From Einstein to Steve Jobs" at the Dec. 7 luncheon.

 

Pioneer Center for Human Services’ 7th Annual Holiday Luncheon and Book Review is quickly approaching so RSVP now.

This annual sell-out event will take place at D’Andrea Banquets in Crystal Lake on Friday, December 7, and will feature raffles, lunch, and a hilarious dramatic book reading.

Attendees will enjoy lunch and laughter while Barbara Rinella, renowned book dramatist, presents “From Einstein to Steve Jobs” based on two biographies by Walter Isaacson. 

In 1955, Albert Einstein dies and Steve Jobs is born. Two men, two sets of accomplishments…guests will laugh as Rinella strives to determine if Einstein and Jobs are equal in their amazing intellects and contributions while portraying fundamental aspects of their personalities.

The event’s social hour and raffles will begin at 11:15 a.m., with lunch being served at 12:30 p.m.  The presentation will follow lunch.

Tickets are available for purchase at $40 each and tables of 10 are available. To make your reservations, call Barb Swanson at 815-759-7144.  Reserve your seats early as this even sells out very quickly.

In addition, do not forget to purchase your raffle tickets for the chance to be a grand prizewinner. Prizes include:
