Carnival Rides, Games and Animals Among Kane County Fair Highlights

The 143rd annual Kane County Fair and Festival in St. Charles ended Sunday after five days of fun amid sweltering heat and thunderstorms.
Despite the weather, events such as the Big Hat Rodeo and 4-H blue ribbon competitions, as well as carnival rides and Smash ’Em Bash ’Em car demolition derby, continued as planned.
